Lisbon during Summer

While indoors because of the cold I decided to organize my Adobe drive and I found this. I usually like to go for cleanish near perfect shots however the conflict of flows here accentuates perfectly the subjects.

In this case it is the Cristo Rei, which was built after the second world war to showcase gratitude for Lisbon not been destroyed.

I like this photo because it ironically captures the essence of the city in my personal opinion.

Have you ever just had one of those days that everything is calm, the air is hugging you rather than slashing you, the smells have this uplifting power on you and your mind is so calm, all your thoughts dance together in symphony and allow you to see your life with a bit of clarity.

Well I was able to capture the day that experience ocurred to me.

During my time in Africa, I came to realize how much we in modern nations take certain things for granted — agriculture being one of them. The immense effort, resilience, and dedication it takes to bring food from the field to the table is a struggle unlike any other.

In this photograph, an agronomist holds in his hands the reward of his labor — a simple yet profound reflection of life’s essence.

Captured with a Canon.

One thing that I really enjoyed about Lisbon was that the city makes use out of every piece of space they have, nothing is wasted.

I decided to go near the Vasco da Gama bridge to take some photos and to my surprise the land under the bridge is used so effectively. You've got walking paths, a skate part with a great view and picnic areas. Caught this at the entrace of the path before going off into a mini adventure.

Taking this shot off Cabo Ledo was rather trippy, the overall experience was beautiful and a reminder to appreciate life as it is.

At times we sit and wish we had more, could do more, that we forget what's right infront of us.

This moment was one of those that really hit me and reminded me to be in the present. Otherwise I'd wake up one day and ask myself what the fuck happened to my life?

Framed Echoes: Raised legacies — quite literally. This bridge takes its name from Vasco da Gama.

Who was he, you ask? A Portuguese explorer who, back in 1498, became the first European to reach India by sea. Fast-forward 500 years later, and this bridge was inaugurated in 1998 to mark that historic route — a pretty fitting tribute to one of the biggest names from the Age of Discovery.

Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this long. The only other time I remember a drive lasting over 20 minutes on a bridge was heading from Miami down to the Keys.
