"Voices in the Mirror" brings together written reflections from those who knew Gordon Parks and his work, including filmmaker Ava DuVernay, who worked as a publicist for Parks' 2000 documentary "Half Past Autumn."

Of Parks' legacy, DuVernay writes: "He did not bring elegance to Black life. He captured the elegance that is Black life."

On view through November 6 at 46 Lafayette St. Learn more at the link in bio.

"Night House," Becky Suss' exhibition of new paintings, is on view at our Chelsea gallery through October 31.

Muted colors and softened forms invite examination and patient attention, while the nuanced layering of dark pigments allows each composition to shift as the eye acclimates, revealing new depths over time.

Nick Cave's newest commission, "Louder Still," 2025, is now on view in Room 1 of Glenstone Museum's Pavilions building in Potomac, Maryland.

The installation is the artist's largest multi-figure Soundsuit to date, uniting eleven discrete forms beneath a single, monolithic textile hand-sewn with iridescent mother-of-pearl buttons. The oversized headpieces, shaped like gramophones and tuba horns, evoke music and the sounds of protest — themes Cave considers central to the work.
