Did you know? In 2023, nearly one quarter of U.S. adults had chronic pain, with nearly 10% of those cases frequently limiting life or work activities. Gaps in research and data hinder progress against this pervasive health issue.

That may seem like an easy question, but over the past decade we've been asking that of the American public, the responses have shed light on the lack of visibility that scientists experience in our society. 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
