Adding a Video to your Profile

Learn how to embed videos right in your Campsite profile.

Video is a great way to increase engagement with your audience. We've added support for embedding videos directly in your profile with multiple platforms, including Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, and Vimeo.

How to use a video link

Our video links are integrated directly into our existing links feature. We detect when you've entered a supported video link and give you options on how you'd like to embed it.

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Click Add New Link

  3. Enter a video URL into the URL field

  4. You can either link off to the video you've provided, or embed it in your profile

How to embed a Youtube video

  1. Click Add New Link

  2. Enter a Youtube video URL into the URL field

  3. Click the play icon and you'll be presented with two options:

    • Link off to the Youtube website

    • Embed the video on my profile

  4. After you've added a label and enabled the link, it will appear on your profile

How to embed a Twitch channel or video

Twitch is on of the biggest platforms for streaming and gaming videos. You can embed your Twitch videos, live stream or, chat directly in your profile.

Twitch Channel

A Twitch channel is your profile where you live stream and chat. You can also find all of your videos on your Twitch profile.

  1. Click the "Add New Link +" button

  2. Enter a Twitch channel URL into the URL field

  3. Click the play icon and you'll be presented with four options:

    • Link off to the Twitch website

    • Embed my Twitch channel

    • Embed my Twitch chat

    • Embed my Twitch channel and chat

  4. After you've added a label and enabled the link, it will appear on your profile

What do visitors see when I'm not streaming?

Your channel will remain embedded whether you're live streaming or not. If you're not streaming, your visitor will have the option to turn on notifications for your channel.

What if my profile visitor isn't a Twitch user or not logged into Twitch?

The visitor on your profile will be given the option to log in or sign up on Twitch if they try interacting with your stream.

Twitch Video

  1. Click the "Add New Link +" button

    • Embed the video on my profile

  4. After you've added a label and enabled the link, it will appear on your profile

How to embed a Facebook video

  1. Click the "Add New Link +" button

  2. Enter a Facebook video URL into the URL field

  3. Click the play icon and you'll be presented with two options:

    • Link off to the Facebook website

    • Embed the video on my profile

  4. After you've added a label and enabled the link, it will appear on your profile

How to embed a Vimeo video

  1. Click the "Add New Link +" button

  2. Enter a Vimeo video URL into the URL field

  3. Click the play icon and you'll be presented with two options:

    • Link off to the Vimeo website

    • Embed the video on my profile

  4. After you've added a label and enabled the link, it will appear on your profile
